Description
The tetraNET are a series of robust cabinets designed to house the latest digital airwave terminals. Along with secure charging the cabinets provide data access over a Wide Area Network (WAN) allowing terminals to be configured, upgraded and audited from a remote access point.
The terminal manufacturer’s software is used to program and configure the terminals while the officer has safely locked their terminal away.
The cabinets are designed to be wall mounted. They are constructed from 18/20 gauge steel and finished with a tough epoxy polyester. Master keys also give managerial access should a visual audit be required.
The tetraNET ensures that the most efficient service can be provided to TETRA users by providing software updates and configuration changes to every handset in the quickest possible time. This simplified management system demonstrates significant cost saving when compared to traditional techniques where field technicians are used to implement the software upgrades.
Did You Know....
- The tetraNET can be built with an electronic lock. Entry to a pre-assigned locker can be restricted by pin number and proximity card reader.
With the electronic lock option entry logging is also possible. This audit trail is ideal for pool terminals or station spares. Together with the remote programming facility the tetraNET allows replacement terminals to be configured and collected quickly. |
