Description
The ELP-DC-ACB is the green solution for burn-in, power supply, solar cell and battery testing. Historically electronic loads have dissipated energy as heat or employed water cooling techniques.
Instead of wasting energy the ELP-DC-ACB actually regenerates the power taken by the load. The AC output is synchronised to the mains supply at the correct frequency by a redundant microprocessor.
The unit exhibits an excellent conversion efficiency of the DC load current to the AC feedback of up to 84%. The load can sink up to 2kW in constant current, resistance or power operating modes.
For higher power applications multiple units can be operated in parallel. A 0-10Vdc analogue interface is provided as standard. If computer control is required then an RS232/IEEE 488.2 interface can be optionally provided |
