Marketing Executive (Salary Based on Experience and Qualifications)

ETPS supply high-end test equipment to many of the world’s leading technology brands involved in cutting edge R&D. Key market sectors include the electrification of transport, smart grids and energy storage research amongst others.
Virtually all marketing functions are carried out in-house, so you will be exposed to all aspects of the marketing spectrum. The successful candidate will require the drive to conceive and execute strategies to grow our prestigious customer base. The varied nature of the role will suit somebody who loves to adapt and apply their existing knowledge to new situations, adding creative input where appropriate.
Job Description
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
- Help develop and implement the company’s marketing strategies to retain and grow customer base, including product launches.
- Assist with the design and content of marketing material such as product datasheets, email newsletters, catalogues and case studies.
- Support ongoing website SEO, PPC advertising and running of social media channels.
- Adapt copywriting and visuals to clearly convey ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Help organise stands at trade shows and conferences (occasional overnight stays may be required).
- Conduct primary research to unveil new opportunities, competitor movement and industry trends.
- Manage and develop the CRM system.
Working in a small team, the successful applicant will also benefit from being involved with other areas of the company. Outstanding candidates will be able to mould the role as their own. No previous knowledge of engineering is needed, with fresh perspectives to the sector encouraged.
Essential Candidate Requirements
- Excellent level of conversational written English, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and succinctly.
- A well-developed ability to work alongside others as part of a small flexible team.
- Confident when interacting with customers.
- Methodical mindset with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own work load.
Desireable Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a marketing related role.
- Relevant qualification in marketing or business.
- Previous experience with using Adobe Photoshop/InDesign to produce marketing visuals.
- Experience of organising creative content such as videos and photoshoots.
- Track record of implementing results based marketing campaigns within an agreed budget.
- UK driving licence.

Our programmable power systems can simulate virtually any power feeding or consuming condition within a test set-up, so that individual components can be optimised. A wide range of AC/DC power, voltage and current outputs are available. Both unidirectional and bidirectional models are offered as standard.
Fixed Output Power
Due to their robust build, our fixed output power systems are trusted across many industries where manual control of output current and voltage isn’t required. Single phase, three phase and DC inputs are all available. Hot swappable modules are possible, as well as n+1 configurations.
Rental Power Systems
We maintain a range of rental systems which provide solutions to short term, urgent or unusual test requirements. Programmable power supplies, electronic loads and bidirectional PSUs are all available. The range covers both AC and DC voltage, current and power requirements.
